A considerable part of my role, both as a construction worker and as a business owner is making sure that I have all the accreditations I need to do the best job possible and to set my company apart from the competition.
I hold certificates in Health and Safety through Acclaim Accreditation. These certifications shows that alongside my subcontractors, we meet SSIP standards and have strong health and safety processes in place.
I am now certified in First Aid which means that I am qualified to perform basic first aid whilst I am working on site. Safety is incredibly important to me both on and off the building site and I’m happy to now have this certificate.
I am now qualified in site safety which means that I have the certification and experience to help to maintain the safest working conditions possible for myself and my contractors.
I am now certified in Asbestos Awareness Training. This course allows me to recognise the health risks associated with asbestos and understand how to follow safe working practices for both me and my subcontractors.
As the No1 family-run business for construction and bricklaying in Leicester, we are delighted we have been accepted into The Guild of Master Craftsmen. Following some of the most rigorous trade checks and a personal visit by a Guild Assessor (who liked our personal attention to clients) – we are delighted to have been accepted (see here).
