Brick Cladded House

This property was built in New Zealand and therefore the foundations had to be built specifically to withstand large amounts of movement during earthquakes.

This is a timber-framed house and this also helps it to cope with movement during earthquakes and makes it more likely to cope with any damage. The roof was made of corrugated aluminum sheets and the fascia and gutter was also made from aluminum. These sheets had to be screwed down due to the unpredictable weather conditions in New Zealand.
